SINCE WE SAID GOOD-BYE TO YOU
By SONNY CALDWELL
Written g’or my wife, Mildred, in mcmorx of her mother, Mrs.
Eunice Burrage, who passed away March 22, 1978.
The clouds seem to hang much lower
The sky is not as blue,
“Our burdens seem to be much greater
Since we said good-bye to you.
The nights seem to be much darker
The days are lonelier,_ too,
Our hearts are so much heavier
Since we said good-bye to you.
The valleys seem to be much lower
The rivers are wider, too, g
The mountains are so much higher : 1
Since we said good-bye to you. }

~ Since we said good-bye to you. |
Come morning, things will be better
When our work'on earth is through,
What a glad and ;'?yous meeting
When we say Hello to you.
