The men of the Trion
Methodist Church met at the
church Tuesday evening, April
1. The speaker was the Rev.
Peggy Lowe of Lyerly. She
spoke about her experiences
d?l(;ing her ministry. There
were 15 members present.
Everyone enjoyed the supper
that was srepared and served
by the ladies of the church.

The WMU of Mountain
View Baptist Church met Sun
day, April 6, at 5 p.m. at the
church. The meeting was open
ed with prayer by Ruth Martin.
The minutes of the last
meeting were read by
secretary-treasurer, Kathleen
Baggett. The lesson: ‘‘The Dif
ference One Association of
Churches Can Make,” was
taught by Ruth H:ghes. The
meeting was closed with a
unison of prayer. ;

visit another aunt, Molly, who
is 102 years old.

Ramey, Friday.

Sammy, and son-in-law, Steve,
went to Sylvania, Ala., on a
fishing trip Saturdai. They
spent the day and brought
