Mr. Allison was born in
Chattooga County Nov. 7,
1921, son of the late Fred C.
Allison and Flora Hogan
Allison. He was a veteran of
World War II serving in the
U. S. Navy and was employed
by the Dupont Corgoration.
Survivini are his sister,
Mrs. Leila Shropshire of Sum
merville; two brothers, Clyde
Allison and F. C. Allison, both
of Summerville; and several
nieces and nephews also
survive.
Funeral services were held
Sunda{, ?ril 13, at 3 p.m.
from the Hill Chapel of Lane
Funeral Home with the Rev.
Wilburn Dooley and the Rev.
David Moore officiating.
Interment was in Summer
ville Cemetery.

First Baptist Church. He was
a veteran of World War 11, and
was owner and operator of the
former Bullard Sausage Plant.
Surviving are his wife, Mrs.
Mary Green Bullard; two
sisters, Mrs. Laura Love and
Mrs. Mildred Johnson, both of
Summerville; two brothers,
Benrie Bullard of Summerville
and Bobby Bullard of Pied
mont, Ala.; and several nieces
and nephews also survive.
Funeral services were held
Tuesday, Agril 15, at 2 p.m.
from the Hill Chapel of Lane
Funeral Home with the Rev.
Tony Christie and the Rev.
Frank Lewis officiating.
Interment was in Lyerly
Cemetery.
Active pallbearers were
nephews.

Fannic Dover
Mrs. Fannie Dover, a resi
dent of LaFayette, passed
agay Thursday morning, April
10.
She was born April 2, 1908,
dagfihter of the late Will and
Dollie Hunter Elem, and was a
life-long resident of the north
Georgia area.
Mrs. Dover was of the
Church of God faith.
Surviving are three
daughters, Mrs. Mabel Thomp
son and Dora Lanier, both of
LaFayette and Mrs. Beatrice
Thom%son of Calhoun; two
sons, Bill and Faye England,
both of LaFayette; two sisters,
Mrs. Annie Elem of Cedartown
and Mrs. Mary Teems of Sum
merville; 21 flandchildren; 30
great-grandchildren; and nieces
and nephews also survive.
Funeral services were held
Saturday, Al-Pril 12, at 2 p.m.

tile Corporation.

Saturday, April 12, at 2 p.m.

Mrs. Kathryn Maddux, 51,

Trion, passed away Thursda
afternoon, ll\fril 10, in Reci’
mond Park Hospital.
She was born in Chattooga
County Nov. 24, 1984,
daughter of the late Paul
William Worthiy and Frances
Elizabeth Saylors Cleghorn.
Mrs. Maddux was a textile
worker and a member of the
Trion United Methodist
Church.
Surviving are her husband,
George Graham Maddux Sr. of
Trion; one son, David Dun
woodf\" of Anniston, Ala.; one
daughter, Patty Maddux of
Trion; one brother, Tommy
Worthy of Trion; two step
dau%}llters, Mrs. Pam Eleam
and Mrs. Janet Holbrook, both
of Trion; two stepsons, George
Maddux Jr. and Dennis Mad
dux, both of Trion; four grand
children; and several aunts,
uncles and cousins survive.

Century Club, VFW Post 6688,
Masonic Lodfigl 160 and a
member of the Trion First Bap
tist Church and a veteran of
World War 11.

third degree arson charges
Monday.
A sheriff's spokesman said
James Hampton of a general
delivery Lgrerly address was ar
rested and charged with third
degree arson In connection
with the burning of an auto.
Hampton posted a $25,000
bond and was released.
