Mrs. Wingfield Honored For Teaching
Mrs. Jessie Wingfield, English teacher at
Trion High School, was honored Tuesday
dnnns the annual Honors Dafi' program.
Mrs. Wingfield has devoted her 33-year
teaching career to Trion High School and
will retire this year. Trion students gave
a spontaneous standing ovation when the

Most Outstanding Trion Students
One student from each class at Trion
High School received the Most Outstan
ding Student Award during Honors Day
ceremonies Tuesday afternoon. The
students were recognized for having the
highest grade-point averages, ranging

FmHA Announces
Operation To Assist
Farm Financing Locally
The Farmers Home Ad
ministration (FmHA) Office in
Summerville will begin to par
ticipate in “Operation Assist,”
Forrest C. Rule, Jr., County
Supervisor, announced this
week.
Operation Assist is a new
effort by FmHA to help
farmers obtain * guaranteed
operatin'g loans. County super
visors for FmHA will take
completed farm credit applica
tions to local banks or other
lenders, along with the farmer
wishing to apply for a
guaranteed loan,

troduce the applicants to our

Jeremiah 1:4-5. The word of God came to me saying before “I"
formed you in the belly, | knew you, before you came forth from
the womb | sanctified you, | ordained you a prophet unto the
nation. Suppose Jesus had been aborted, where would you and
I be? This unborn child is an innocent person, to terminate this
child is murder. God is angry over this crime, there is “NO"
greater social evil in America than abortion, it “MUST" become
the concern of each individual. God will judge our nation for
such sin and irresponsibility. Now is the day Christians need to
speak up against this shedding of innocent blood for . . .
