Reading Class Presentation
The reading class of Mrs. Gwen Colwell
at Pennville School recently presented a
patriotic musical as an end of the year
project. Students, parents and faculty at

Thursday, June 12, at Trion
Community Center and left at
8 a.m. They stopped in Albert
ville, Ala., for breakfast, then
on to Cullman for a tour of
“Ava Maria Gratto,” better
known as ‘‘Jerusalem in
Miniature.” On the way home
they stopped in Boaz for a cou
ple of hours of shopping arriv
ing back home about 5 p.m.

retired from Internal Revenue
Service April 3 after 24 years
of service. Mr. Green has been
employed by the government
for 35 years,
