merce St., according to Forrest
C. Rule Jr.
Applicants must
demonstrate a need for home
repair and rehabilitation in the
area to be served, an acceptable
plan for selecting the in
dividual recaifiients and assur
ing the quality of work per
formed, support for the pro
gram by local government in
the area to be served, and
sources of additional support,
if an‘f'. to supplement the grant
funds.
The applications will be ac
cepted until July 28 from
qualified public and private
non-profit organizations.
