Marries James Burton
Miss Regina Lindsey and
James Burton were united in
marriage May 31 at Ridgeway
Baertist Church.
he bride is the daughter of
Mrs. Jean Parris, Summerville,
and Bobhy Lindsey, Margate,
Fla. The groom is the son of
Mr. and Mrs. John Burton,
LaFayette.
The Rev. Dewey Blalock,
LaFayette, officiated the
double-ring ceremony.
Brass candelabras holdin,
lighted white tapers ang
decorated with lavender spring
flowers formed the background
for the service. Family pews
were marked with satin rigbon
and spring flowers.
Nuptial music was
%resented by the Rev. Larry
avis and Diane Keith.
The bride was given in mar
riage by her parents and
escorted down the aisle by her
father, pausing to present her
mother a rose.
The bride wore a formal
gown of white satin adorned
with Chantilly lace appliques
and seed pearls. It featured a
fitted bo£ce and long sleeves
with lace inserts.
Her illusion veil was adorn
ed with seed pearls and was at
tached to a Ylat of white silk
flowers and pearls.

underneath the cake.
The groom's chocolate cake ~
was topped with grapes and
