Tudor Reunion Held
Bank Of Dry Creek
The descendants of George
and Octavia (Stansell) Tudor
met again on the banks of Dry
Creek for the Tudor reunion.
This reunion has been held
annually on the Fourth of Ju
ly for more than 80 years. The
oldest l_E)erson attending was
Mrs. Essie Parsons, %Jorth
Carolina, 92. The youngest was
Ashley Wheeler, six months,
Dry Creek. Ashley is the great
great-granddaughter of George
and Octavia,
Oldest descendants of

were grandsons: Reece Tudor
and Bill Kinsey, Dry Creek
Road, and Virgil Tudor,
Lyerly. \

Kappa Delta Pi was found
ed in 1911 at the University of
Illinois to foster high stan
dards of preparation for
teaching and to promote
fellowship among those who
have attained academic ex
cellence and achievement.
