Over Bridge, Through Summerville To Trion
A house built bv Coosa Valley Vocational
High School students at Rome filled up
most of the bridge over the Chattooga
River last Thursday and made its
presence known in downtown Summer
ville enroute to Trion. Milan McMillan of
McMillan House Movers, Rockmart,
chauffeured the house from Rome to

No Action On
Nursing Home Plans
No further action had been
taken by this week on two pro
posals for nursing homes in
Chattooga County, according
to Michael Clark of the State
Health Planning Agency,
Atlanta.
The Agency has until Aug.
20 to decide on which of two
proposals it will approve. One
was submitted by Oak View
Nursing Home, which hopes to
increase the current nursing
home adjacent to Chattooga

CVT Test
Set Daily
Coosa Valley Tech's admis
sion test will be given at 8:15
a.m. each weekday for those in
terested in enrolling in fall day
classes. There is no charge for
this test and it is not necessary
to make an afi)pointment.
Persons planning to take
the test should report to the
Admissions Building shortly
after 8 a.m. Testing will take
less than three hours. For more
information on admission to
Coosa Valley Tech, call
235-1145 between 8 a.m. and 4
p.m.
Recreation Coaches
To Meet Next Week
The Summerville Recrea
tion Department will hold a
meeting of all youth coaches
Ifootbah. baseball, softball and
basketball at 5:30 p.m,
Wednesday, July 30, at the
Summerville Recreation
Center.
This meeting is to elect this
year's "Coach of the Year," A
trophy will be awarded to this
year's winner at the coaches
cookout scheduled for a later
date.
Coaches not able to attend
the meeting should contact the
Recreation Department.
Coaches include: Wayne
Humphrey, Benny Humphrey,
Steve Peppers, Marty Brown,
Ben Mosley, Harolg Callan,
Shirley Daniel, Tom Blackmon
and Terry Money.
