Carpet Installed At Middle School
C ting is being placed in the new Summerville Mid
dlzrgzhool. The ad«i’ition of floor covering is one of the
last steps in the long process of preparing the school
for the sixth, seventi and eighth graders who will ar
rive this fall. As soon as floor-finishing work is com
pleted, desks and other classroom furniture will be ar

New Gymnasium Floor Shines
School officials are pleased with the ap
pearance of the gym at the new Summer
ville Middle School. The wooden floor was
varnished several weeks %go. The Chat
tooga County Board of Education has
given its approval to add bleachers to the
ONE-YEAR CELEBRATION!

Homecoeming
Homecoming services will
be held Sunday at Trinity Bap
tist Church.
Sunday school will begin at
10 a.m. and worship service at
11 a.m. Lunch will ge spread at
the noon with the Hymn

1:30 E.m.

CVT Courses
Applications are now being
accepted at Coosa Valley Tech,
Rome, for courses in typing,
word processing, filing and
other clerical and secretarial
skills.

sions office at 235-1145 any
weekday before 4 p.m.
Homecoming
The annual homecoming
will be held at the Subligna
Methodist Church Sunday.

not being used at the new Summerville
Middle School, it has been inspected and
will be in use as soon as a permanent elec
trical line is installed at the school.
