First Birthday
Party Held
Sabrina Nicole Bramlett
celebrated her first birthday
July 7 with a party given by
her parents, Earl and Phyllis
Bramlett.
A “‘Cabbage Patch” theme
was used for her pool party.

Donnie Fowler, director of
the Chattooga County
Emergency Medical Service,
has been appointed chairman
of the annual **Wheels For Life
Bike-a-Thon'" in Summerville.
The event is scheduled for
Sept. 13, with a rain date of
Sept. 20. The event will benefit
the St. Jude Children’s
Research Hospital.
Fowler is currently working
with the hospital to create in
itial plans for the annual Bike
a-Thon. Final details will be
released within the next two
weeks, according to Fowler.
“‘Children who enter the
Bike-a-Thon make agreements
with sponsors who will donate
a certain amount of money for
each mile they ride,” Fowler
said. “The children try to raise
as much money as they can per
mile. Those who earn $25 or
more will receive a T-shirt and
athletic bag with the St. Jude
insignia on them.”
Fowler added that adult
volunteers are needed to assist
with the Bike-a-Thon.
“Any adult who would like
to volunteer or any child who
would like to go ahead and sign
up for the Bike-a-Thon may
contact me at the Chattooga
County Ambulance Service,”
Fowler said. The number for
non-emergency calls %is
57-5261.
