New Prints Available At Library
Doris Dyer of Chattooga County Library

available to be checked out at the facili
ty. The prints of paintings by Monet,

been scfreduled for trial during
two weeks of criminal court,
beginning at 9 a.m. Monday,
Aug. 25 in Chattooga County
Superior Court.
The court calendar lists the
cases as follows:
Timothy Dewayne Gentry,
statutory rape; Danny
Hawkins Sr., aggravated child
molestation, chlfi-ir molestation
and aggravated sodomy;
Luther Lee Parker, two counts
child molestation; Dewey
Nolan Allmond, trafficking in
cocaine; Leroy Binkley, two
counts of violating the (g'eorgia
Controlled Substance Act
(GCSA); Michael A. Dempsey,
violating the GCSA and three
counts of bad checks; David
Lewis Bruce, a sex offense;
Randy Dooley, two counts of
violating the (XCSA: Robert M.
Noles, two counts of violating
the GCSA; Suzanne Phillips,
violating the GCSA; Michael
Leon Smith, violating the
GCSA; and Thomas N. Tucker
Jr., violating the GCSA and
possession of a firearm by a
covicted felon; Greg Koonce,
violating the GCSA, three
habitual violator counts and
three counts of driving under
the influence (DUI) of
intoxicants.

Fiddler's Convention in Menlo
Park. The Chattooga County
Wildlife Association provided
the dinner for the resi(fents and
the staff from the nursing
home. Those who attended
were: Lenton Drew, Viola
Hudgins, Naomi Hurley, Alma
Moon, J. D. Bailey and Sam
Smith. Members of the staff
were: Lisa Hall, Lynn Aimee
and Shirley Good‘l,-idge. We
would like to thank the Wildlife
group for the meals.

Dry Valley Days Scheduled Sept. 1
Plans are in progress for Dry Valley Days
held annually on Labor Day. The sixth an
nual Dry Valley Days event will be held
Monday, Sept. 1, at the area surrounding
Jarrett Lake in Dry Valley. More than
2,000 people attended the community
sponsored event last year. Numerous
| would like to take this opportunity to
thank all of the people of Chattooga
County who voted for me and worked so
hard to help me in my campaign. | will
never forget the effort you made.
