Through these portals have passed thousands upon
thousands of students from throughout Chattooga
County. The old Summerville Junior High School, which
was formerly Summerville High School, sits unused this
year and is facing the auction block in late September.
The likelyhood is that no more children will grace the
doors of the near 40-year-old school. (Staff Photo by
David Espy).
