and Chattooga Counties are in

the Farmers Home Ad
ministration (FmHA) Area
Committee, FmHA county
supervisor, Forrest C, Rule Jr.,
announced.
As aresult of the 1985 farm
bill, two of the three members
of FmHA Area Committees
must be elected. The third
member is desig;nated by
FmHA. The Floyd and Chat
tooga Area Committee assists
the FmHA count[y office in

Safety Seats Remain

Available In County
Twenty safety seats for children have been rented by
the Chattooga County Love Seat Committee and 16 seats
are still available, according to Priscilla Hammond.
The loaner proFram began July 15 and involves seats
that usually retail for $45 to SSO each.
However, the committee rents the seats to Chattooga
County families for a $lO deposit fee, with 856 of that
amount to be refunded upon return of the seat. They may
be rented for up to a year and are suitable for newborns
and toddlers up to 43 pounds.
