and site preparation contrac
tors the training they need to

Collect
Data Here
Bambi Bridges of the Cen
sus Bureau will collect data on |
the workforce from Chattooga
County residents the week of |
Oct. 20-25, according to James |
Holmes director of the |
bureau's Atlanta regional of- |
fice. Ms. Bridges resides in |
Chattanooga, Tenn., and she is |
a Chattooga native. ;
The local data will con- |
tribute to October's national |
employment and unemploy- |
ment picture to be released |
Nov. 7 by the Bureau of Labor |
Statistics (BLS). The Census |
Bureau's monthly Current |
Population Survey includes a
national sample of some 58,000 |
households and is sponsored by |
BLS primarily to gather |
employment and unemploy- |
ment data. Information sup- |
plied by individuals is kept con
fidential by law. Only
statistical totals are published. |
This month, information on |
school enrollment is being col- |
lected as a supplement to the
survey. ‘
Benefit Sing
A benefit singing will be
held at 7 p.m. Saturday at
Freedom Tabernacle, Lyerly.
Guest singers will be the
singing Hearts and The Wells
Family, as well as other
groups.
Hot dogs and soft drinks
will be sold before the prograin.
Proceeds will go to the church
