Sam R. McCain Stadium,
Trion got on the board first
with their initial possession, A
23 yard Rusty Maddux run on
the first play from scrimmage

Richard Tucker added a 7 yard
run in the drive, Tucker finish
ed the 11 play march as he
plunged into the endzone from
a yard out. Montgomery add

and Trion had a 8-0 lead with
5:37 left in the first quarter.
The Bulldogs next scoring
chance came as a result of an
interception. Sophomore Scott
Daniel picked off a Cardinal
pass at the Red Bud 25
ardline to set the stage for
"I"rion‘s second touchgown.
Quarterback Tucker hooked up
with receiver Brandon Floyd
on a third and 7 for a 22 yard
gain down to the one yardline
of the Cardinals. Michael Crab

Fire Destroys
I
Trion House
A house on Pinedale Road
west of Trion was completely
destroyed by fire Wednesday
night.
A neighbor identified the
house as that of Ronnie
Brewster, 99 Pinedale Rd.,
Trion.
Summerville and Trion
firemen responded to a call
around 8 p.m. but the house
was totally engulfed in flames
when they arrived at the scene.
The Brewster family ap
parently was not at home at
the time of the fire, firemen
indicated.
