$494,000 In Taxes Paid
A total of $494,453.06 has been turned over to Chat
toofga County's schools and government and to the state
so far this year, according to the office of Hugh Don Hall,
tax commissioner.
The funds have been distributed to the countg govern
ment for general fund purposes, for county bonds, to the
school system's generai)fund and for school bonds, as well
as to the state. ;
Another $139,166.49 was awaitin%‘ final processing
before the funds were turned over to the spending agen
cies, Hall said.
. The deadline for paying 1987 property taxes is next Jan.
