of Atlanta spent two days dur
ing Christmas with Mrs. Ruth
Newsome.
The Sidney Dooley family
gathered at the New Antioch
Baptist Church fellowship hall
on Saturday for their pre-
Christmas meal. Sidney and
Betty Dooley with all the
Dooley children and grand
children and a few friendigr were
present. Mrs. Mildred Little
john was their special guest.
Forty-one people were present
from the local area, Fort
Payne, Bryant and Hokes
Bluff, Ala.
Mr. and Mrs. Ron Stover of
Stanton, Va., spent two days
during the pre-Christmas
holidays with Douglas and
Debbie Broome.
Mr. and Mrs. Harold
Broome's Euests on Christmas
Eve for their annual holiday
party were their children and
grandchildren. Those present
were: Mr. and Mrs. Danny
Dooley, Matt and Carrie, Mr.
Kids Day Care

of Murfreesboro, Tenn., were
visiting their parents, Mr. and
Mrs. Bill Green, on Sunday.
Mrs. Green has been ill for
some few months.
Mrs. Louise Logan, a
former long-time resident of
Summerville who has been
residing in Varnado, La., for
the past 18 months, is
recuperating nicely following a
fall which resulte({ in a broken
hip. She has been moved from
a Covington, La., hospital to
the adjoining Rehabifi)itation
Center.
Mr. and Mrs. Jimmy
Wilborn and Mr. and Mrs. Dan
Culpepper were in Atlanta on
Monday to be with Brad and
Jerri Wilborn during Mrs.
Wilborn's surgery.
