The case of Larry J. and
Teresa Coley against American
National Property and Casual
ty Insurance Co. was transfer-
red at the instigation of the in
surance company.
The couple said in the
original lawsuit that their
home on Filter Plant Road was
almost destroyed by fire last
Jan. 28 and tKat they filed a
claim with the company on
Feb. 24. The firm has failed to
pay the claim, they said.
Their attorney said the cou
ple understood ‘“‘that this is
probably an arson claim, but
our investigation reveals no
direct or serious circumstantial
evidence would link the Coleys
to the fire.”
The suit asked for SBO,OOO
for their home and $56,000 for
damages to their personal
belongings.

America (FFA) organization
received several to%awards at
the Polk County Fair swine
l’udgill_\hg contests in Cedartown
ast Thursday.
Chris Bowman won three
first place ribbons and one
grand champion award for his
entry in the February Duroc
gilt, Yorkshire Boar, and
showmanship contests. He also
placed second and reserve
grand champion in the January
orkshire gilts.
Kim Bowman placed first
and grand champion in the
January Yorkshire Eilt. also
receiving first place honors in
the February Yorkshire gilt
contest.
