OF THE DEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY
OF THE CITY OF SUMMERVILLE, GA.
Notice is hereby given that there will be a
special meeting of the Development Authority of
the City of Summerville, Georgia, at 6:30 p.m. on
March 20, 1989, at the City Hall in the City of Sum
merville, Georgia.
Said meeting will be for the purpose of readop
ting, ratifying and confirming the Resolution
which was adopted and all of the action taken by
the Development Authority of the City of Summer
ville, Georgia, at its meeting held on February 20,
1989, and to adopt a Resolution authorizing the
Authority to enter into a certain Lease Agreement
(the “Lease”) with City of Summerville, Georgia,
(the “City”) as authorized by Resolution dated
February 20, 1989, to authorize the acceptance of
an Option to Purchase 39.39 acres, more or less, in
the City of Summerville Industrial Park under an
Option to Purchase granted by City to the Authori
ty, to authorize the Assignment of said Option to
Purchase to Image Carpets, Inc., and to authorize
a Sub-Lease between the Authority and Image
Carpets, Inc. Said meeting will further be for the
purpose of taking any and all other further action
as is deemed necessary and appropriate in con
nection with what is known as the “‘lmage Carpets
Inc. Project” in the City of Summerville Industrial
Park, and, as previously stated herein, to ratify,
confirm and readopt the Resolution which was
adopted and the action authorized at the meeting
of this Authority held on February 20, 1989, and to
authorize and ratify the execution of any and all in
struments which have been executed pursuant to
said Resolutions and which are deemed ap
propriate to ratify and confirm said action.

In compliance with the provisions of Sec
tion 30 of the Charter of the City of Summer
ville (Ga. Laws 1961, pages 2658 et seq.), notice
is hereby given of the intention of the City of
Summerville to convey certain rights in pro
perty owned by said City. as follows:
(A) To enter into a lease agreement with the
Development Authority uf'il"ity of Summer
ville (the “Authority ') dated as of February
21, 1989, leasing to the Authority 14.872 acres,
more or less, located in Land Lots Nos. 1 and
2 in the sth District and 4th Section of Chat
tooga County, Georgia, and being in the City
of Summerville Industrial Park, said tract
fronting 976.8 feet on the south side of John
Bankson Drive and fronting 678.55 feet on the
west side of Hubert Palmer Drive, all as is
more particularly described in said lease agree
ment and as shown on a plat prepared for Ci
tv of Summerville by Carl N. Morrison &
\ssociates dated July 31, 1986, revised
February 3, 1989, said pm‘)orly huing a part

son and Gary L. McGee to City of Summer
ville by warranty deed dated April 4. 1985,
