Seven professional wrestl
ing matches will be held Satur
day at the Gore Community
Center. The matches are spon
sored by the All-American
Wrest.lin%Federation (AAWF),
and will begin at 8 p.m.
The Dream Team, with
Angel, will be featured in the
main event against The Flame
and The Mercenary, with Joyce
Grable. The loser of the match
will be suspended from wrestl
ing at Gore for 60 days.

$45,000 Pool Repair

Members of the Summer
ville City Council were ex
pected to be asked to approve
an expenditure of about
$45,430 to repair the Bolling
Road swimming pool this
week.
The Summerville Recrea
tion Board voted Tuesday
night to seek council approyal
after Gore resident Jerry
Brown came up with the
estimate for the anrd.
Guinn Hankins, a member
of both the recreatioxge(i)anel
and the council, suggested that
Ralph Stanley, recreation
director, and Charles Elsberry,
recreation board chairman,
seek the approval through
John Simmons, city manager,
and Mayor Sewell Cash.

mons conduct a telephone poll
vote of the councilmen on the

A public showing of the per
sonal defense film, **Principles
of Home Defense,” will be
scheduled in April in Chat
tooga Coun% according to the
Chattooga Wildlife Ch%b. The
date, time and location will be
announced later.
It was shown at the
February meeting of the club,
showing how individuals can
avoid, a;])revent and survive a
criminal attack at home.

since several councilmen have
to be out of town Monday.
Brown said he had obtain
ed several Erices on various
aspects of the pool repair pro
ject for the recreation board.
Brown, who has a pool
business himself, had
volunteered to help the recrea
tion board with tfie pool pro
blem. He had esLimawcF in
January that the repairs could
cost around $59.008.
He encouraged quick action
on the pool before the swimm
ing season opens this summer.
The project could be completed
in agout 60 days, he agreed

In other matters, the panel
voted to recommend that
board member John Jelks, who
is completing an unexpired
term, be appointed to a full
term on the board by Mayor
Cash.
It decided to receive bids at
its April meeting on operating
the athletic fie%d concession
stand.
It also voted to advertise
the position of secretary. Pat
ti Hankins will be leaving that
post in the near future, Stanley
said.
