Driver Award
Clifford H. Marter, Menlo,
was selected by Sunflower Car
riers, York, Nebraska as its
1991 Driver of the Year.”
To achieve this distinction,
he combined a record which in
cluded high miles for 1991, no
moving violations and no ac
cidents during the year.
The selection committee
also judged him above all other
drivers in cooperation with
company policy as well as ex
cellent in customer relations.
Sunflower Carriers, based
in York, with terminals in
Council Bluffs, IA; LaPorte,
IN; Greer, SC; and Deland, FL;
is a 48 state refrigerated carrier
operating 400 trucks.
Marter is in his fourth year
of employment with Sunflower
