Chattooga County Hospital and Oak View Nursing Home
will be implementing an automated telephone system after
February 21, 1994. During regular business hours (8:30 a.m. til
5:00 p.m.) when you call the Hospital or Nursing Home, you will
get a recorded message telling you to dial in the 3 digit exten
sion you are calling. You may dial the extension at any time
during the recording. You will also be told to dial 325 for the
Emergency Department if your call is an emergency, or to hold
and the operator will answer. Your call will then be sent to the
switchboard. : :
After normal business hours and on the weekend, the
recorded message will be slightly different. Again you will be
told to dial in the 3 digit extension if you know it and you will be
told to dial 325 for the Emergency Department. You will then be
given a menu of the extension more often called during these
times.
If you do not dial in any extension, your call will be
automatically routed to an open line for you.
We appreciate your cooperation during the transition to the
automated system and hope this system will improve your
ability to access our services.
