THE DRUGS from the
previous night's garty were
still ounding inside business
travger Mike's head. He was in
a strange, unknown hotel, one
which Ee did not remember
coming to with his lady friend
last night.
As the drugs lifted off his
perception like a theater cur
tain, fie noticed he was naked
and laying in a tub filled with
ice. Immediately, his
adrenaline kicked in and he
I}:egan focusing on what was
appening.
ggmetiing red was on his
chest. It was red liPstick which
hearlded a righteninlfi
message. ‘‘Call 911 or you wi
die,”” was scribbled with
lipstick across his chest.
Sitting beside the tub so
meone, Erobably his date from
the bar he picked up last night,
laced a phone on a small table
geside the bathtub.
Mike picked the phone up
and called 911. He told the
operator he was in some hotel
bathroom with a startlins
message on his chest. He sai
he realfy didn’t even know why
he was calling.

THE EMERGENCY phone
ogerator told him to get out of
the bathtub and he did. She
then explained that he needed
to look in the mirror and check
for Eny stxl';lagge marks(.3d
verything appeared nor
mal to lfilike, s% sl&pfold him to
check his back. He reached his
afm around to his back and
turned to the mirror. There
were two verticle nine-inch slits
on his lower back.
The 911 operator advised
him to get back into the iced
water immediately. Someone
had stolen his kidneys.
This may sound strange.
However, it's a black market
medical crime wave that is
slowly sweeping the South. It's
a market that pays SIO,OOO per
kidney.
In the past, this high tech
crime was centered in the
West, especially in the Las
Vefas area. The crime ring is
well-organized, well-fun(fed,
has very skilled personnel, and
is currently in most major
cities and recently very acute
in New Orleans.
The sham begins when,
usually a business traveler,
Foes out for a drink in a hotel
ounge or bar. A woman who
appears to be alone walks over
and strikes up a conversation.
One thing leads to another and
she suggests they go to a near
by parti:.
_ At the party, the traveler,
wfllmglty or not, is slipped some
the of drug. The next thing
the business person remembers
is waking up in a tub filled with
ice and a message nearby tell
ing him to call 911
immediately.
STEAL MY CAT. Steal my
rug. Steal my computer at
work. Steal my barbecued
Cheerios, but just don’t steal
my kidne{s. I'm praying that
state or federal agencies will
stumble on this crime rinfi and
catch these sap suckers,
human filter (kidney) stealers.
What kind of punishment
do these people deserve here on
Earth. How about none? What
do you think? Or do you even
care because you know this
won’t happen to you or your
family?

ANOTHER strang, occur
rence in the kingdom. Someone
with a co-dependency problem
needs to call this number
1-800-234-0038. Co-dependency
is . . . (are you waiting for me to
tell you?).
