Atlantic Electropoise Co.,

Gentlemen: Gratitude for what hgs been
done for me and a desire to tell the sick ana
suffering how they may get prompt relief, in
suffering, induces me to make this statement
concerning the Electropoise:
I had dyspepsia in its most aggravated form
complicated with congestion of the brain ves
sels (predisposition to appolexy), which was eon
traeted fifty-five years ago. So intense and pro
longed were my sufferings, that I was perfectly
content to leave this world. 1 visited nearly all
the watering places from Georgia to Colorado,
consulted hundreds of our most eminent medi
eal praetieioners, drugged my stomach with
nearly every known remedy: still, my case went
from bad to worse. My pastor suggested Elec
trolibration as Nature’s method of cure. As life
had become unendurable, I concluded to try it,
and, after three applications of the Electropoise,
instead of praying to die I rejoice to live. 1
would not be without my instrument for one
thousand dollars. Having with coolness, firm
ness atnl attentive observation watched the phy
siological effects of this God-given remedy in a
goodly number of eases, lam free to say 1 know
of noother philosophical practice in the healing
art based upon the economy of vitality. The
Eleetropoisc causes rapid absorption of oxygen
through the skin. The body tlms charged de
velops strong atliuity for hydrogen, producing
com bust ion in tin- tissues of the body, generat
ing vital force ami stimulating every function
in the organization, consequently we etui rely
upon the instruments fulfilling its purpose and
every family should have it. 1 am aware that my
language is laudatory in the extreme, but I have
no hesitancy in expressing my convictions upon
a subject so pregnant with the best interests of
humanity, i irankly invite criticism of all I
havesaid, in relation to this wonderful remedy,
and frust'my medical brethren will neither ap
prove or condemn. except in accordance with the
rigid requirements of experimental science.

The Argus is requested to correct a
mistatement in the Citizen to the
effect that Mr. G. W. Holderby, whose
residence was destroyed hy fire Tues
day morning about. 4 o’clock, saved
nearly all of . his household effects.
This statement,The Argus is informed
is in direct contradiction to the facts.
Mr. lloldjeiby lost, -almost everything
he had on earth and saved literally
none of his household effects. Being
a poor man, the loss of his household
effects was a severe blow to Mr. Hob
derby. Mr. W. A. Miles, appreciating
Mr. Holderby’s position, went around
taking up subscriptions of money,
clothing, Uunitnre and eveverything
4')se needful in a house, and .Mr. Miles
speaks a good wool in praise of the
liberality of the people of Dalton. He
sa vs everybody approached gave some
thing,’hi her cash or household goods,
and .Mr. Holderby was considerably
helped.
Mr. Holderby is a deserving old Con
federate veteran ; any one who wishes
to help him by contributing cash,
provisions or household articles will
do a good deed.
