A rabbit turned loose on the streets yesterday caused a promiscuous chase and a great deal of fun—ior the par ticipants. Rev. R W Bigham will probably not leave for come days yet. There is no district paraousge in Griffin, and he is delayed somewhat io find ing a home. Mr. Bob Smith, of the Northeastern railroad office, has lost bis mare. At an early hour the parlors were thronged with a select cotnpany-rof friends who had eome to witness the consummation of the most ardent bopee of two jrounc heart*. Rev. Last evening, a reception was giv en to the newly wedded pair, at the residence of Mrs.ER Hodgson,[the groom’s mother. 1 A large number of friends had been invited, and tho oc casion was a most happy one. Mr. and Mrs. Hodgeon reoeived the com pratulaliona of a large number of friends, and it was one of the most brilliant social events ot the season.
