The ceremony was perl'jrtne-l by the Rsv. Mr. Campbell Mrs. Ruff pre sided at the organ and the mualoai selections played by Iter were highly complimented. The wedding party entered the church in the following order : Miss Emily Hamilton and Mr. Lewis W. Thomas; Miss Annie Powers, of Ma con and Sir, C U Scudder; Slisa Jess •ia Frasier of High SitoaU and . Mr. P H Bail, oi Atlanta; Miss Cura. Site had resided in Athens most of her lire, but lived several years in Ala bama, where Iter husband repreaented hie district several times in congress. Mrs Harris was a lady of must ex cellent character. The praise of her many virtues and lovely traits, is in the mouths of all who knew her. She was well Itnowu in this communilv, and no one in it had a more enviable lepulalion for those characteristics that make np the model woman.
