A negro man, named Ned Lewis, was
found dead in his room on Cotton ave
nue, Macon, Ga. He had been com
plaining, and it is thought he died ot
pneumonia. The coroner's jury’s ver
dict was that he died from natural
causes.
John Smith, a tramp supposed to be
insane, has confessed to placing ties on
the track of the Western New York and
Pennsylvania railroad near Summerdale,
