Women and Jewel*.
Jewels, caudy, flowers, man--that is
the order of a woman's preference.
Jowels form a magnet of mighty power
to the average woman. Even that
greatest of all jewels, hoalth, is often
ruined in the sternuous efforts to make
or save the money to purchase them. If
a woman will risk her health to get a
J coveted gem, then let her fortify herself
against the iusiduous consequences of
coughs, colds and bronchial affections
by the regular use of Dr. Boschee’s Ger
man Syrnp. It will promptly arrest
consumption in its early stages and heal
the affected lungs and bronchial tubes
and drive the dread disease from the
system. It is not a cure all, but all
bronchial troubles. Y’on can get Dr. G
G. Green’s reliablo remedies at II. It.
Story of Stonewall Jackson, by Wm,
C. Chase, Esq , who spent years in the
preparation of (his work. Far the best,
most interesting, inspiring, accurate
narrative ever written—fully approved
by and with the help of his, Gen. Stone
wall Jackson—written in such style as
to be easily understood by everyone,
even little ohildren.
Gen. JoeS. Wheeler says : "His cam
paign of 1802, in the Valley, it is safe to
Hay, was without a parallel in the histo
ry of warfare, and marked him through
out ti e world as a man of most superb
military genius.”
Above deeply interesting narrative
will he, should be read by Northern as
well ns Southern boys. Jackson's fame
and g’.ory belongs to a re-united people.
His lire furnishes a shining example for
all Americans. At the terrible battle of
Anteiiaiu, Jackson saved the life of that
superbly bravo Federal Lieutenant Wm.
McKinley oar lamented President, by
ordering one of his soldiers not to kill
him "sick." One half of all the profits
