; the Landowners In The Noses Creek
| - Drainage District No. 3
. You will take notice that it is the purpose
of the Board of Drainage Commissioners of
the Nosese Creek Drainage District No. 3,
to issue bonds fo rthe payment of the total
costs of improvements in the amount of fifty
Thousand Dollars. These bonds to draw six
per cent interest, payable annually, and are
payable in ten annual instailments; said bonds
to begin gearing interest March 10, 19290, and
the first interest installment to be paid Jan
uary 1, 1921, Any landowner having lands
asseseed in the district not wanting to pay
intérest on the bonds may, on or before the
10th day of April 1920 pay to the County
Treasurer the full amount for which his land
is liable, which for
Class A land is $35.90 per acre
Class B land is 28.72 per acre
Class C land is 21.54 per acre
Class D land is 14.36 per acre
Class E land is 7.18 per acre
said amounts having been ascertained from
the classification sheet and the certificates of
the Board showing the totadl cost of the im
provements. The land on which the -assess
ments are paid shall be relased from liability
to be assessed for the said improvements, but
such lands shall continue liable for any future
assessment for maintenance under the law.

1. Petjtioner is a corporation under the laws
of the State of Georgia, having been duly in
corporated and granted a charter by the Su
perior Court of said County on the 24th day
of July, 1899, under the corporate name of
ARTESIAN LITHIA WATER COMPANY, for
a period of twenty years, with right of re
newal, as more fully shown in the reeord of
Superjor Court Charter Book. |
2. Said Charter expired by limitation on the
24th day of July, 1919, and sajd corporation
has continued in business in said State and
County in ignorance of the expiration of its
said charter, and is now engaged in said State
and County in the prosecution of the business
authorized under the original charter,

10:00 a. m. on the 19th day of March
1920, for the furnishing of all labor,
material, equipment and other things
necessary for the construction of
three and four-tenths (3.4) miles of
Federal Aid Road, Georgia Project
No. 102, beginning two and one
tenths miles south of the court house
in Marietta, and extending three and
four-tenths miles south on Dixie
Highway to Love street crossing in
the city of Smyrna. ,
Proposals will be received on the
following types of road: One Course
Concrete, Bituminous Macadam, Roek
Asphalt and Vitrified Brick. :

ta, Georgia.
Plans can be had at $7.00 per
set, and specifications at $l.OO per
set at the office of Knox T Thomas.
Said work will be paid for as the
same progresses, towit: 85 per cent
of the amount due in each calendar
month will be paid between the tenth
and fifteenth day of the succeeding
month, and the remaining shall be
paid within thirty (30) days after
final completion and acceptance.
Proposals must be submitted on
regular forms which will be supplied
by the undersigned, and must be ac
companied by a certified check or
bidders bond for 5 per cent of the
amount of the bid.
Bond will be required of the sue
cessful bidder as required by law.
Right is reserved to reject any and
all bids and waive all formalities.
