each auctioneer, andhe shall make at the end of
each month a return of all auction sales made

gaged in buying or selling exchange, currency,
. bonds, stocks or other securities for profit, or in
loaning money, shaving notes, discounting com
mercial paper, or collecting same and charging
therefor,or advancing on collaterals for commis
sion or interest, whether he keeps an office or
not, shall pay $40.
