We would not be surprised to learn at any tune that Tatnall county had lost a good family, and -that Glynn’had gained one thereby. Look at our Smyrna rugs, a very useful holiday present. A. Kaiser &B|o. The E,T. V. A Go. passenger train, duo here last night at 2 o’clock, did not reach hero ‘until 7 this morning. The crow of the train had to turn right round and run back to Atlanta withut one wink of sleep or a mo ment’s rest. This train was held over in Atlanta four hours to haul down a special to Jacksonville, the first over that route for the season. It curried 69 Jaoksonvillians back to their homes. Stacy A Adams hand sewed men shoes, beautiful styles, all styles just opened at Kaiser’s. Sunday Night. Our Y. M. C. A. have their first anniversary to-morrow evening at the Methodist church of this city, where union services will bo held. The meeting will be addressed by Mr. W. R. Bosard, General Secretary of the Railroad Department of the Y. M. C. A. of Atlanta. The music has been specially arranged for by a Consolidated choir of good singers. All of tho friends of the Y. M. The committee who located the Sewers yesterday will make their re port to Council covering seventeen miles of sewerage, which the engin eer estimates to cost $112,000. They will recommend that bonds bo issued to cover this amount, and that the work proceed at once. Pardoned. Mr. J, E. Dart returned tp the city to-day bringing with Uim Mr. Frank Higginbotham, who was sentenced about two years ago for tho murder of a seaman off Lorillard’s yacht, the Riva. lie was sentenced forfiveyears, but has been pardoned after remain ing there two years of the time.
