This December LUth, a. D. 1888,
D.T. DUNN,
Attest: Mayor City of Brunswick.
£. A. NELSON, Clerk and Treasurer.
Many counties in South Carolina
report that 1 they prospered in 1888,
and that they have great hopes for
1889. There does not appear to be
any reason why every county in
South Carolina should not prosper
raoro greatly than ever during 18S9.
In fact, tho entire South has reached
that point whoro material progress
is not so difficult as it was.
It is understood all over the coun
try that Gen. Harrison will hang out
tho sign, “No Mugwump Need Ap
ply,” when he takes,up .his residence
in the white house. This, however,
will refer only to those mugwumps
who voted for Mr. Cleveland.
