New York. —Reports that Federal
League officials were working on a
plan to organise two minor leagues to

the parent organisation, were con
flrme<l\today by John M. Ward, busi
ness manager of the Brooklyn Federal
League club. While In the South Pres
ident Gilmore, it is said, will keep in
close touch with quarters of National
ami American League clubs and will
bid for all young players who are
dropped at the close of the training
season.
The best of these men, It Is planned,
will be used in filling gaps in the
Federal League clubs while the others
will be apportioned to teams in the
proposed minor circuits.
