Charlotte, N. C. —Snow began falling
here tonight about 9 o'clock and at II
o’clock about two inches bad fallen, the
heaviest snowfall of this season of the
year on record In this section of the
state;

was sweeping over the South' Atlantic
States tonight. Unusually low tem
peratures for the season were reported

Albert Harris Says That He Was Taken Away From North
Carolina Home—Left a Show at Wrens, Ga., and Wants
to Return Home.
Albert Harris, n white boy 14 years
of age. Is at police headquarter* where
he wvia sent last night by an officer who
found him wandering ground 13th street.
The boy claims that he Is a native of
Uooleemee, N. f\, and was kidnapped
about a year ago by a showman named
Ralph l*lerson who was connected with
Littlejohn's United Shows.
While traveling In Alabama, so the
boy says, he left the Littlejohn shows

Juarez, Mexico. —Bylvestre Quevedo
and Jose Orosco, leaders of a small fili
bustering band operating in northern
Chihuahua under Federal colors, were
wounded In a recent encounter with
Constitutionalist troops south of l’alo
mas, according to Mexicans who ar
rived here today and claim to have seen
the fillbusterers in their camp.
When General Carranza arrives here
he will be invited by Governor Chao, of
the state of Chuhuahuft, on behalf of
General Vi la. to move his capital to the
City of Chihuahua. Governor Chao and
his staff came here especially to deliver
the invitation and honor the chiefs ar
rival.
