Blythe, Ga.— Thr farmers In this eecta'P have been considerably de layed Ml their planting by tne unfavor able weather of the last few week*, but have made good progress late y. Levy’s Easter Shirts and Neckwear will hold several surprises, even for the knowing ones. The Shirts in new solid shaded effects in all subdued tones, are in madras, percales and silks, soft and stiff cuffs. WILLIE LEVY COMPANY 4a The Gibbs Girl Says: "Maybe it doesn't seem strange to work where we make Catsup and NEVER TOUCH A TOMATO,—but that’s a tact! After the Inspectors have O. K.’d them, —and they never mina a "spot,"—not a Tomato that goes into the Catsup is touched by ANY ONE. Even after the Catsup is Bottled, it is Pas teurised by heat to MAKE SURE that it’s CLEAN and PURE. Practically all of their fertilizer has nlroadi been received which In rather unusual for this time of the year, and the greater part of the corn na» been planted. Cotton planting will be commenced In a few days. GIBBS SJii b CATSUP COSTS 10c The |teople In tbl« section believe In early cotton. t.aat year Turner Bros. & Co ginned the firm two bales In Richmond County and were closely followed by a number of others from this section They say that they have found early cotton to be so success ful that they will probably continue to bring in the first bale—ls they can. lawt year’s good crop gave a great deal of encouragement to farmers who had been disheartened by the poor success of previous seasons. The good prices prevailing enabled every one to pay off old debts and take a fresh start. Added to this, the Im portation into tilts section of a large number of splendid Western farm stock has lelt them better prepared than ever before. Every one is ex pecting the biggest and best cron this season they have ever produced. Fine Hogs Raised. Hog raising has beeu receiving con siderable attention. Probably the most successful In this line has been Mr. A. t). Templeton, who has some thirty registered Herkshtres, besides a number of others. He has been very fortunate In winning a number of prizes, and getting good prices for hogs he has sold, and his success has induced a number of others to follow hts example. Building at Keyaville. Keysvllle, Ga. —Considerable build ing has been going on in Keysvllle lately. Mr. J. W. Cooks lias put up a splendid two-story building, the first floor of which will tie taken up by his furniture business. The sec ond floor has been fitted up by the Woodmen of t’ a World . J a lodge room. The Woodmen have quite a large membership here, and the meet ings are always well attended, he | lodge room is handsomely furnished. Mr. A. P. Woodward Is just complet- I ing a very- attractive residence, and Mr. B. L. Way is building an addition to his house. The hotel building which has not been in use for some time lias been I taken over by Mr. W. A. Stapleton. Mr. Stapleton has put in a number of improvements and is now giving an excellent service. Keysvllle Watermelons. Keysville farmers believe in water melons. To tell the truth, this is the very best place in the whole world to plant watermelons. Once In a while you hear about the man who grow such a big pumpkin that he had to cut the top off to let the sun rise. That ! wasn’t a pumpkin. That was a Keys ville watermelon, but other folks got i Jealous and said it was a pumpkin, so I Keysville wouldn't get credit for It I So we take this opportunity to correct i the mistake. Honestly, they grow so fine here that—well, you wouldn't be lieve It if we told you; so it’s no use. Anyway, we are glad they are going to plant more than ever. Maybe tills season we will get all we want. Matthews Farmers. Matthews, Ga.— The farmers in and around Matthews are considerably be hind with their croiw this year. The weather conditions have not been fa forable. Most of the land has been broken, and a good deal of corn plant ed. Practically all of the fertilizer has been delivered and as long as ihe good weather continues, plantiug will be pushed as fast as possible. The Jefferson bounty chain gang. No. 2, has been working around Mat thews for some time. The roads here have been neglected for such a long time that it is hoped they will stay until they have thoroughly worked all the roads, especially the automo bile roads to Augusta. If the road from Matthews to Gordon's Mill can be worked up to the same standard as that from Wrens to Augiißta, It will complete a first-class road from Augusta to Matthews, and it will be of great advantage to Matthews to have a road good enough to Induce autoists to drive through the town. Social Notes. Mr. and Mrs. W. C. Marion attend ed the Rose Maid in Augusta Satur day evening. Misses Sills and Hadden, of Baston ville, were guests of Miss Kate Con nell last week. Mr. Cook Thompson, of Augusta, has been ill for some time at the home of his father, Mr. Dave Thomp son. He is reported much better. Mr. and Mrs. L. T. Penington made a business trip to Gough last week. Mr. L. M. Penington and party mo tored to Augusta last week and had a very enjoyable trip. Messrs. J. S. Roberts and G, A. Far mer took a party of Steliavllle folks to Augusta Saturday. 18 OF CREW DROWN, London. —Eighteen of the crew of the French steamer Saint Paul, were drowned today. The steamer struck a rock and sank while entering the port of Brisbane, Australia, accord ing to a Lloyds Dispatch. The Saint Paul was on the way from Noumea to Sydney. THIS simple rule of health is daily railed attention to by every doctor in the land, whose first question to the patient almost invariably is, “Are vour bowels regular?" Yet there’s not one person in fifty who takes proper care of the bowels. Ami the result of this foolish neglect is nine-tenths of all ill-health. If today you are unable to free your body of waste matter at the usual time, or if the art causes straining, pains and discomfort, don't let that condition occur again tomorrow. Unless your bowels enn carry away the waste materials left after food is digested, deeay sets in, the poisons of which, taken up by the blood, increase the risk of Typhoid Fever, Appendicitis, and many other serious diseases. In treating constipation, there is a right wag and a wrong way. The wrong way is to take harsh purga tives which even though they do clear the bowels, cause griping and nausea, injure the delicate tissues, and so disturb the normal functions os to cause the return of constipation. The right way is to help Nature to produce natural movement, without pain or discomfort, by using More Than One Hundred Million Were Sold Last Year This enormous quantity was used with good results by busy men who suffered from constipation, due to lack of exercise, or indigestion caused by overwork —by children whose parents realize the harmful effect of com mon purgatives—by old people whose sys tems cannot stand anything harah by \ women during pregnancy, and after child- \ birth, when any medicine with a violent ' action would l>e particularly dangerous.
