In thus terminating my Incum

by the executive and the other
departments of the state. The
generous and unfailing co-opera

workers In the capitol during my
three years of service has made
the performance of the duties of
the attorney general's office a
genuine pleasure.
With best wishes, I am re

March no. 1914.
The news of Attorney General Fee
der's resignation spread quickly, and
In a short while friends of various
prominent lawyers about the state
imd assembled in the governor’s wait
itig room to urge the appointment (/
this or the other friend."
Governor Slaton, however, lost no
tolme In muklng the appointment.
Prominent Attorney.
Mr. Griee Is a prominent attorney of
Hawkinsville, and Is popular and well
known over the state. He lias served
several terms In the general assembly
from Pulaski county, and bus held
Various other public offices.
In making hla appointment Gov
ernor Slaton issued no formal state
ment.
Me said to newspaper men:
I consider the slate fortunate In
having so able a lawyer na Mr.
Griee. He Is my friend, and I
have been with him in several
terms of the general assembly.
I considered him seriously
when 1 tnnde my appointment of
Judge. Wade to the appellate
ltench. I feel sure that his serv
ice to the state will amply Jus
tify the choice that I have triad**.
Mr. Felder will establish his politi
cal headquarters In Macon Imme

effective, and will open his campaign
for the short-term senatorglitp.
Mr. Felder will ''stump” the state

linos. He will pursue a face-to-face
wlth-the-voters policy In this cam
paign.

Every Man Has His Price
We've a Suit to Match It
You know there's a difference between
satisfaction and near satisfaction.
Just the suit a man wants at just tne
price he wants to pay for it, is the S.-E.
Credo.
—Takes lot of careful study and thought
but we find that it pays in the long run,
and we also find that manufacturers
come to know how very particular we
are and are extra thoughtful for us.
Swan-Edwards' suits do not go lower
in price than a point where absolute satis*
