no doubling up and the lieutenants
ure to appoint aa many assistants a*
will he necessary, the object being
to reduce tho entire territory to city
blocks, having at least one person to
each block. These are to distribute
tho dodgers which are worded In sucli
a simple mnnncr that any one can
understand wlmt It means to clean
up, what you nre to dispose of and
how to go about it.
These women nre not lot Inspect*
ors. They merely ask you to help
them clean up In Augusta. They will
ring your - door bell und hand In a
dodger and you will tnke pleasure In
doing the rest.
The club brought up the defacing
of tlt« Poet's Monument, which has
been daubed with green paint by
some vandals, and the club appointed
a committee to see what action can
be taken in this matter.
Chief Klllott was present at this
meeting and hsked to give 'his co
operation. which he cheerfully agreed
to do, and when asked about the
anti-spitting ordinance said that when
on the street cars the conductors
were invested and empowered to en
force this law moat rigidly, and as
sured the club that every complaint
coming to him would be attended to,
even if he bad to put policemen on
the cars to arrest the conductors for

every mother in the city, irrespective

invitation to attend this meeting and
will be made most welcome. Those
interested will note change in hour.
These meetings are proving very help
ful to mothers and children’ and also
to teachers, aa it enables them to get
in closer, touch with each other and
so work together.
There seems to be some little mis
understanding on the part of some of
the mothers that these meetings win
take up the matter of the Spring
Cleaning, which is just now engross
ing all sensible people. This is due
probably to the fact that, at the last
meeting there was a little talk made
by one woman enthused on the sub
ject of the general Spring Cleaning.
Nothing relating even remotely to
cleaning up will be touched on at this
meeting, only the things that will bo
of benefit to children, teachers and
parents.

Headaches come from a torpid liver

stomach to become filled with undi

That's tho first step to untold misery
—lndigestion, foul gases, bad breath,
yellow skin, mental ears, everything
that Is horrible :nd nauseating. A
Cascaret tonight will give your con

and straighten you out by morning.
They work while you slep—a 10-cent

feeling good for months. Millions or
men and women take a Cascaret now
