MRS. HAROLD McCORMICK.
Rome. It is believed in musical cir
cles here that the establishment of an
annual $4,000 prise for the best lyric
opera by a youthful composer, the gift
w ill smash the so called "music trust."
Two music publishing houses have
practically controlled the musical sit
uation here for years and young com
posers as well as aspirins; singers have
been held up for la rye sums if they
wished to revive u hearing.
Mrs. McCormick, who is the former
Edith Rockefeller, daughter of John
D. Rockefeller, became interested in
aspiring composers and opera singers
last year, while visiting Parma as the
guest of Chalfonte Campananl, con
ductor of the Phlladelphla-Chtcago
Opera Company, on the occasion of

“SUMMERVILLE TERRACE
ANNEX”
Not having had a sufficient, number of lots in “Summerville Ter
race” at the popular prices—say $450 to SSOO to supply the demand, we
purchased that fine tract of land known as “Old Verdery Home Place”
which joins “Summerville Terrace” at its eastern end, and follows that
ridge of high land across Central Avenue and over to Wrightsboro Road.
This property is most convenient, being close in and all of it on or near
the car line—the Central Avenue line running through the middle of it.
This is only a small addition and the prices being very low, will
last but a short time. It is expected to sell rapidly and build up fast.
We have already sold lots to two quick home builders in this addi
tion, and our improvements which are now under way, will in a few days
be keeping step to the music of the saw and the hammer.
IMPROVEMENTS
The opening and grading of the streets are now going on and the ma
terials are being assembled for
A COMPLETE CITY WATER SYSTEM.
, A COMPLETE SANITARY SEWERAGE SYSTEM.
CEMENT CURBED STREETS, ETC.
All of which will be completed with the utmost dispatch.
TERMS
Our usual easy terms will prevail. Only $20.00 down and 48 monthly
payments absolutely without interest and without taxes for four years
—will buy any lot in this property.
Home builders! Investors! Think of it! You can buy here fine
building lots fronting on the car line for SSO0 —only $20.00 down and
SIO.OO per month —no interest —no taxes, or a little off car line for the
same money or a little less, or a little more. The lots are all cheap and
afford a fine opportunity to both home builders and investors.
