the next eighteen years of his Ilfs In

Newark was a member of many fra
ternal orders and clubs. lured Mrs.

freight yard In New ock and there
tore her diamond ear-rings from her
ears. He was captured hh he was run
ning away from the yard.
In court, three other women Iden
tified him as the thug who had simi
larly assaulted and robbed them. Many
letters and petitions from Newark
