be a unique service. This Is to be
known as the Resurrection service. A
double quartet choir, under the direc
tion of Prof. George 11. Thompson,
will slug Christopher Marks’ beautiful
Kaater Cantata. "Victory Divine."
During this service the resurrection
will be pictured in the ordinance of
baptism. This ordinance, according to
the Interpretation of the Baptist
church. Is a picture of the burial and
resurrection of Jesus Christ. "We
were burled, therefore, with Hint
through baptism Into death: that like
as Christ was raised from 1 the dead
through the glory of the Father, so
we also might walk In newness of
life.'’

Easter service at the First Presbyte
rian Church this morning In addi
tion to the regular quartet choir, than
which there are few finer in the coun
try. there fill be some forty young
girl* singing the Easter songs.
At the evening service the aaefed
cantata "The Resurrection" will be
rendered by the choir and their as
sistants lit addition to the splendi I
organ of the First Church there will
be the Held Memorial Orchestra.
This cantata is composed of alterngts
song and scripture.
The scripture Is arranged as a re
sponslve reading, so that the congre
gation takes part In the entire ser
