a misleading impression. This was considered quite foxy fifteen or twenty years
ago, but today is against tho principle of reputable merchandising. But why should
we worry? It is public record that great foxes have been known to run themselves
into holes so deep loss of sleep and “the powers that be” could not extricate them
fully. Mr. Fox in this instance, you ars a menace to those who desire individuality
in dress, and we champion this self-same individuality in dress. Incidentally this is
more evidence of where water seeks and what company birds of a feather keep.

Deßrucc, complimenting one of the
brides of April, Miss Claude I’earce.
Guests were invited for afternoon tea
and the rooms given over to I heir en
tertainment were beautiful In their
floral adornment of yellow flowers,
great masses of golden daffodils,
w'hich were used wherever artistic
taste suggested. The tea table at
which the twenty or twenty-five
guests were seated had for a center
piece a fancy basket filled with sweet
pens in all their dainty loveliness. The
place cards were done In daffodils and
the same golden color was carried out
in the serving of the Ice-course of
the pretty tea.
Just before adjourning to the din
ing-room the bride was seated in the
center of the parlor, beneath a huge
yellow daffodil from which depended
ribbons of yellow satin. These were
drawn by the bridesmaids-to-bo and
the lovely bride showered with a
wealth of exquisitely dainty pieces of
lingerie and other toilette adjuncts.
