Brunson, of Orangeburg; then came Miss Youngblood with Mr. Perry '■an Miss Josephine Erwin, of Hartsvllle with J. J. Bush of the U. of S. C.; then came Miss Ma mie Bush and Mrs. W. P. Etchison of Columbia, as dame of honor; then little Priolean Etchison and Helen Dunbar carrying a white basket filied with rose petals which they scattered then came little Elizabeth Etchison with the ring in the heart of a rose, then the bride on the arm of her brother, Mr. Ralph Dunbar, and the groom, Mr. William David Bush, en tered with his best man, Prof. F. H. McKinney of Greenville. The ushers were Messrs, Elmore Ashley and Golphin Murray of Beech Island. The four maids-of-honor wore white silk crepe dresses and white girdles with butterfly bows in front, short tulle veils caught with valley lilies and carried Easter lilies tied with white chiffon. The dame of honor wore white embroidered crepe and carried carnations. The little girls wore soft white lingerie dresses with white sashes. The bride’s dress was white charmeuse trimmed in Duchess lace and pearlß, the sash train came from the puffed skirt. The veil was cap effect and held in place with natural oranga blossoms. The only jewelry was an all pearl necklace that her mother was married In. Her bouquet was a shower of bride’s roses and val- Icy lilies. The bride is the youngest daugh ter of the late —ames Randolph and Lynch Proilean Dunbar, very old and aristocratic families who date back for thirteen generations. The bride’s forefather on her mother’s side was Elias Priolean founder of the first Huguenot church in Charleston. The groom is the second son of the late William D. Bush and is a planter in Burke County, Georgia. By the union of this couple connect two of the oldest families in that part of South Carolina. Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Dunbar enter tained the bridal party and the out oT-town flrends with a reception. There, as at the church, everything WBB white, the flowers used were roses, the ices and cakes were all white. Mrs. E. R. Buckingham and Mrs. James Boman received at the front door, and Mrs. Ralph Dunbar, Mrs. W. P. Eetchison, Mrs. E. L. Patterson received In the parlor. Miss Josephine Erwin, of Harts ville, drew the. cake with the ring, Miss Tutt Youngblood the one wltn the thimble, Miss Bamie Bush the one with the dime and Mr. Perry Busu drew the collar button. ' The bride and groom left In an au tomobile after the reception for Au gusta, from there they went to their home nea r Waynesboro, Ga., where they will keep house. The bride's traveling suit was violet crepe poplin trimmed with s deeper shade. With this was worn a white net blouse and violet hat. h Among the out-of-town people were: Mrs. E. L. An event of interest In the social an nals of Ridge Springs, S. C., wus the marriage at high noon yesterday of Miss Henrietta Maud Boatwright and Mr. Benjamin Boatwright, which was attended by a large number of friends and which was followed by a reception at the home of the bride’s parents, Captain and Mrs. James Boatwright, of Monetta. The ceremony took place at the Episcopal church at Ridge. Springs, which had been adorened with smilux and hundreds of Easter lilies which were also usel at the Boat wright home. The bride, who is an unusually handsome young woman, wore an ele ant gown of white crepe meteor with veil, and carried valley lilies. She was attended by her sister, Miss Marie Boatwright who wore a lovely gown of white net over satin and who carried a shower bouquet of Easter IIIIch and fern, six dozen lilies being used to gain the exquisite effect. After the serving of an elaborate luncheon the bride changed her gown for a smart traveling suit, and arnld the most cordial of good wishes Mr. and Mrs. Boatwright left for the north, where they will spend a month and on their return make their home at Mo netta, at the groom's place, which Is one of the handsomest in that section of the country. For the past week Captain and Mrs. Boatwright have been entertaining a house party of relatives and friends, In the nature of a family reunion at which several of the Boatwright fam ily were represented.
