Notice 1* hereby given in accordance with the provls.ons of the following Or dinance. that the election therein pro vided tor, will he held in Augusta, Georgia, on the first day of June, 1914, for the purpose and upon the terms and conditions in such Ordinance fully set forth: AN ORDINANCES TO PROVIDR FOR THK ISSUANGR. gKOURITY AND PALE OF SEVEN KI NDRED AND FIFTY THOUSAND DOM-ARH ($7&0.- 0*0) OF HONOR FOR THE PURPOSE OF PROTECTION AGAINST FLOOD. The City Council of Augusta hereby or dains:— Section I—That on the first day of June. 1914. there shall he held in this City an election under the registry list made up under ten ordinance adopted March 2nd, 1914. and approved March 3rd 1914, entitled "An ordinance to pro vide for the registration of voters for an election or elections to he held to de termine upon the issuance of bonds arid for other purposes," and under the ex isting laws for election for Mayor and Memberrmof Council, except as modified bv this ordinance, to determine upon the Issuance of bonds provided for ‘n this ordinance Notice of such election shal! be published in Tire Augusta Her ald. the newspaper In which the Sheriff s advertisements for the County R chmond are published, for thirty days next, pre ceding the day of election notifying the qualified voters of Augusta that on the first day of June. 1914, an election wl'l be held to determine the quest lon wheth er the bonds provided for by this ordi nance shall be Issued.
