Judge Grubb to Hear
the Naval Stores Case
Savannah, Ga.— On Monday In the
federal court, the case of the Ameri
can Naval Storea Co., the alleged na
val atore# tru*t case will he brought
to the attention of Judge W I. Grubb,
who i* to hold court here in place of
Judge Emory Speer . The defense will
file a plea in abatement contending
that the United State* supreme court
did not grant a new trial in the case
hut dismissed it. If this plea 1* sus
tained the case will he concluded. It
will also he contended in the event the
pica in abatement fail* that the naval
stores trust if it ever existed, has hern
dissolved, the company having wound
up its affairs.

tective William J. Burns was pelted

citizens when he visited the little

terday entered a plea of guilty when

der of Denny Dixon, of Patterson, in
Waycross several months ago. He
