Is this a case of “sour grapes,” on account of losing that first game? LITTLE AUGUSTA BAILEY BURIED AT SLLENTON Ellenton, S. C.—Little Wallace Au gusta Bailey, the five-year-old daugh ter and only child of Mr. and Mrs. E. M. Bailey, died at the home of her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Richard Miller, Monday afternoon, the 11th. at 5 o'clock, after an illness of several weeks with typhoid fever. This sweet, lovable and interesting little girl was the idol of her parents and loved ones. Her short life was not spent in vain, for she endeared herself to loved ones by bonds of affection that time can never break and her life, so beautiful and modest, will count much in re plenishing the kingdom of God. She was sent as heaven’s sunshine to sweeten and bless the lives of all around her and then called to join her little sister, who preceded her to the throne just six short months ago, and to be at heaven’s portals to wel come those left behind. May God comfort the sorrowing loved ones. Her little body was laid to rest at Daisy May church. Rev. W. H. Holley conducted the funeral services. AUSTRIA AT EXPO. London.—A telegram from Vienna says Austria will be officially repre sented at the Panama-Pacific Exposi tion at San Francisco, but as the gov ernment has granted only $12,000 no special Austrian pavilion is to be erected.
