At the night service Rev. W. <3. G. Renway, of the Itedpath Chautauqua Association, will preach. Mr. ltenway has been heard at the Chautauqua this last week Hnd has made a most favorable Impression on the many who have heard him. E. Today Rev. A. D. Echols, who has made su( h a splendid success at the Asbury Methodist church since becoming pas tor of the church in 1910, announces a baptismal service for the children of his church today at 11 a. m. All who have children that have not been bap tised are requested to be present today and present them for the service. At the same time there will be a recep tion of new members. I'HE AUGUSTA HERALD, AUGUSTA, GA-~ Baracas Hold Monthly Meeting; Splendid Arrangements Are Completed For Convention Tho City Baraca Union held its reg ular monthly meeting last Tuesday night at Asbury Methodist church. The classes all had a fine representa tion and close attention was given the different reports of the classes. The reports showed a steady growth among the classes. A delightful feature of the meeting w'as an address made by Mr. C. O. Davis of St. Duke’s Baraca class, on "Baracalsm As a Panacea for the Morbid Conditions of Augusta.” The talk was greatly enjoyed by the great crowd of young men, and has beifi talked of on the streets since. Report. Mr. J. O. Belding. the chairman of the committee on arrangements for the coming Baraca convention, made his report. It showed that he had made good as chairman of the com mittee and that all things were about ready for the great meeting to begin here next Sunday. When the roll was called it was found that the Asbury class had won the banner for another month. The banner is awarded on the percentage of the class roll that shows up at the monthly meeting. Asbury has taken the banner for several months in suc cession. The feeling of the classes shown by the hearty cheers given this successful class as it has taken the banner month after month. The an nouncement is ever met with hearty cheers and congratulations by the oth er classes. After the meeting the union was served with ice cream, cake and flow ers. Tho young ladies who served were mots cordially thanked by thw young fellows as they took their de parture for their homes. and scalp than anything you have ever used. 'Phis has the remark able action of completely dissolving the hair, harmlessly and surely, instead of burning it off, as other hair removers do. It leaves no mark whatever. * * * BEATRICE—You will go on for years as you are doing, using creams and tonics to get rid of pimples. Here is a sure and quick way. It is a blood cleans er of splendid power. Dissolve twelve ounces of sugar in a pint of water, and add one ounce of sarsene. Take three or four tablespoonfuls three or four times a day. Get the sarsene at the drug store, in the original package, by the ounce. • * • MRS. N. O.
