To Have Pretty Hair
If you hair is not as oft and pretty,
or ss fresh and full as that of some
friend, do as she does give It daily at
tention, just the same care you would
eive a plant to make it healthy and
beautiful. Luxuriant hair—soft, flufly,
thick and lustrous Is really a mat
ter of care. If it is too thin, make
It grow If it is .too dry and brittle,
soften it up—lubricate It. If you have
dandruff ft is because the scalp is 100
dry and flakes off. Freshen up the
scalp and the dandruff disappears.
Parisian Sage, an Inexpensive tonic,
which you can get from any drug or
toilet counter, or from T. G. Howard’s,
Is just what you need—it softens the
scalp, nourishes the hair roots, imme
diately removes dandruff, and makes
the hair fluffy, lustrous and abundant.
One application will stop itching head
and cleanse the hair of dust and ex
cessive oil. Parisian Huge takes away
the dryness and brittleness, makes the
hair twice as abundant arid beauti
fies it until It Is soft and lustrous.
By the use of this helpful tonic any
woman can easily make her hair soft,
fluffy and abundant. Pretty hair will
surely Increase her charm and beauty.

two hundred boys In uniform marching.
Company l), commanded by Capt Ken
neth Merry, won the honor of being the
beat drilled company of the battalion.
Abram Levy Medal.
Corporal Dessie Phllpot won the
Ahram Levy medal, which haR been
worn during the past year by Pat Mell,
who won it at the drill last summer.
There were three other cadets who stood
a good chance for the medal. They
were Clyde Mixon, Rivers O’Brien and
Hlswell Rlgsley, all of whom stood up In
the drill to the very last. Finally through
slight errors made In the execution of
the most difficult commands In the man
ual of arms they were dropped from the
line, leaving Phllpot the winner.
The drilling was begun at 6 p. m., im
mediately after visitors had been shown
through the Academy buildings and ex
plained the work of the boys. The peo
ple began coming a* 4 o'clock snd for
at loess «n hour the school was more
or loss filled with Interested spectators.
The visit through the new technical
building, which was formerly the old
Medical College, was really the feature
of the afternoon. Here was seen how
the Richmond Academy can afford to of
fer the courses in manual and commer
cial training of which it boasts. The
splendid equipment in this building was
truly a revelation to many.
The Wireless.
There were several new things In
cluded in the exhibition of equipment
this veer, the most interesting one,
however, being a wireless outfit in the
physics laboratory in the Academy
building which was set up by Herbert
and Julius Johnson, of Aiken, pupils of
the Academy, under the supervision of
Prof. K. I Ransom. The X-ray ma
chine also attracted the atentlon of many
people. It Is said that now the science
laboratories of the Richmond Academy
nrc as complete as any high school in
this part of ttie country.
