Such notice sha.ll specify what amount of bonds are to be Issued, for what purpose, what interest they are to bear, how much principal and Interest to he paid annually nnd when to be fully pa.d off All persons voting at such election In favor of the Issuance of such bonds shall have writ ten or printed on their ballots the words "For bonds for the purpose of protection against floods" and all persons opposed to the Issuance of such bonds shall have written or printed on their ballots the words "Against bonds for the purpose of protection against floods.” Paction 2- Should the issuance of such bonds be assented to by two-thirds of iho quallfleo voters of Augusta and should such amount of bonds be ancer fnlned to be within the limit of bonds authorised to be issued, under the Con stitutional Amendment as hereinafter fully set for*h tfcere shall he authorised to he issued nnd gold by The City Coun cil of Augusta under the provisions of this ordinance, Seven Hundred and Fifty Thousand Dollars ($750,000) principal amount of bonds, the proceeds of which shall be used for the purpose of pro tection against floods Such bonds shall be known ns “City of Augusta Flood Protection Rorgls of 1914," sliall be of the denomination of One Thousand DoUars ($.1000) raeh, shall bear date the first dny of July, nineteen hundred and fourteen (1914), shall he payable as to the principal amount thirty years after date, shall hear interest at the rate of four arid one-half per centum (4% per cent.) per annum, payable serni annual ly on the first daya of January and of July of each year, such Interest to be represented by coupons attached to said bonds, each coupon being for the sum of Twenty-two and 50-100 Dollars ($22.50)), shall he numbered from one thousand nnd one (1,001) to one thousand, seven hundred and fifty (1,750), both Inclusive, shall bo ligthographed or engraved, shill be signed by the Mayor of Augusta, countersigned by the Clerk of Council, end have the Corporate Real of the C'ty affixed thereto, and the coupons ehaJl bear the lithographed nr engraved sig nature of the present Clerk of Council.
