DEAD AT "HOT SUPPER."
Atlanta—When Feal Banks, a negro,
was shot to death last night for steal
ing a five cent “hot dog" sandwich,
another murder was added to the long
list of tragedies which have given the
gruesome name of “Dead House” to a
negro dance hall in the outskirts of
Atlanta.
The sandwich man, who fired (he
fatal shot, escaped in the turmoil be
fore the county police arrived on the
scene. It was a typical Georgia negro
night gathering, with “hot supper’’ fea
tures, dancing and banjo playing.
